Hematology analyzers are used to perform the tests on blood samples. It works on both Coulter's principle and flow cytometry to determine the granularity and inner complexity of the cells. They are used in laboratories for measuring complete blood counts, blood cell counts, coagulation tests, and reticulocyte analysis. A laser light is directed to the sample and the scattered light is measured at various angles along with the absorbance to identify cell count.
