Analytical Instruments

The plate seals are used for sealing the microplates and other PCR plates during the process of thermal cycler, nucleic acid extraction, and PCR. These are used to reduce the evaporation of samples to have minimal sample loss and high efficacy. Two sealing film layers are placed between two seal jaws which are clamped together due to the impulse of an electrical current on heating elements present in the jaws. The heat passes through film layers creating a weld and then it is kept to cool down and stabilize back to its normal properties.
