A conductivity meter is used to detect the level of conductivity in the solution. The probe is attached to the conductivity meter and is immersed in the solution, measuring the electric current passed through electrons present in a sample. If the concentration of ions in solution is high higher the conductance will be detected, which leads to faster current and vice versa.

Used in Research and Engineering, Aquaculture, Freshwater systems.
