A turbidity meter is a device used to measure the turbidity of analyzed water and solutions. It has optical properties due to the dispersion of light. When the incident light is passed through the sample, the suspended particles present in the sample cause scattering of light, which is directly proportional to the turbidity of the solution. It is widely used in industrial operations that include the use of liquids.
