Histology Freeze Plates
Histology Freeze Plate is a scientific instrument that is used for cutting thin to semi-thin sections of fresh, frozen tissues. It has a stage for the fixation of the tissues. Once the tissue is fixed, it is frozen by low-temperature recirculating coolant mainly liquid carbon dioxide which hardens the tissues by freezing them. Further, these tissues are cut into sections by microtome. They are mainly used in pathological laboratories.
Used in Pathology, Cytology, Histology, Clinical Study Trials, Tracking of specimens.
