In Ice Maker, The gas travels through the compressor which heats and pressurizes the gas while it is passed to the condenser. In a condenser, gas is passed through coils which condenses it into liquid. The refrigerant goes through an expansion valve where it expands to convert it into a low-pressure gas. This cold refrigerant further enters into the evaporator which is aligned with the tray containing water, and absorbs the heat from water resulting in a lowering of temperature to the freezing point and converting it into ice.
