Analytical Instruments

The tissue is first fixated and dehydrated to proceed with embedding. In embedding, the tissue is placed within the metal mould which is filled with molten paraffin wax. Then a labelled cassette is also filled with the wax and placed on the top. After that, the mould is transferred to a cold plate to set it resulting in the formation of paraffin embedded tissue block.
