Freeze Dryers are laboratory equipment that are used to preserve the products by removing the water from the material resulting in extended shelf life of the product. They work by freezing the material, reducing the pressure, and removing the water further providing heat and directly sublimating the frozen water into a vapor after putting the product under a vacuum, this process is called lyophilization.
