Metallurgical Microscopes are high-resolution microscopes used to observe opaque objects. It works on the principle of reflected light, incident light falls on the specimen surface gets reflected & magnified, and then passes through the plane glass reflector which again gets magnified by the upper lens of the eyepiece. These microscopes are majorly used in the inspection of metals, processing plastics, forensics, laser systems, and metallurgy.
