Thermal imaging is a non-invasive technique that converts infrared energy into visible energy. Thermal cameras work by detecting the radiation emitted by objects and converting them into electrical signals which proceed to produce thermal images on screen. It is used in the medical sector to measure the elevated temperature of the human body due to certain infections or illness.
